Places where we collect your information.

Te Deum Press does not obtain any of your personal details without your consent and we exclusively hold on to information with which you have personally and willingly provided us. We collect information through three sources: our product purchase forms, our “Contact Us” form and our “My Account” form.

Our Checkout form requires you to give some personal information necessary for the purchase. Some of this information is obligatory for purchase (First Name, Last Name, Country, Street Address, Town/City, Postcode for UK and other countries apart from the Republic of Ireland and Email Address). Other elements are optional (Eircode in Republic of Ireland and Phone Number).

The information from our Checkout form is used to process and deliver your order as well as to keep records of customer transactions for our accounts and for the purposes of Revenue (when and if legally required). Te Deum Press only retains information relating to financial transactions for as long as is legally necessary in the Republic of Ireland (six years, according to current law).

Our “Contact Us” form requires you to give us your First Name and Email Address. This information is retained only in order to respond to inquiries from website users.

Our “My Account” form requires you to give your Username and email address. This information will be retained in order to facilitate future orders which you may make on the site.

The only other purpose for retaining information from any of the above three sources would be to administer ezines or updates to which particular customers have expressly asked to be signed up (for example, through checking the “Subscribe to our newsletter” box on the checkout page). Any information which is not required for one of the above purposes is not retained by Te Deum Press. Whenever a customer asks for previously granted personal information to be removed, Te Deum Press will remove it (unless this involves information which it is obliged by law to retain).
