Sale Terms

Only those aged 18 years or over are entitled to make a sales contract with Te Deum Press via this website.

Payments for goods on this website can be made either via PayPal, by card payment through Stripe or by direct bank transfer (ask us for bank details in this case). It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that sufficient funds are available in his/her bank accounts/cards/any other acceptable payment method to complete payments on this website and that he/she is authorized to make these payments. If an attempted purchase is made without sufficient funds or authorization, Te Deum Press will consider the order cancelled and the order will proceed no further.

The sales contract will only commence once the customer has transferred funds and has received communication from Te Deum Press confirming that the order has been dispatched. The sales contract will cover only those products which have both been paid for by the customer and are included in the communication from Te Deum Press confirming that the order has been dispatched. Any other communication (e.g. acknowledging placement of an order etc.) does not constitute a sales contract.

Prior to contract, Te Deum Press reserves the absolute right to cancel the order, without any recourse possible on the part of the website user. In the event of order cancellation by Te Deum Press, a full refund will be made to the customer in the case where payment has been made, in due course.

If an order is attempted of a product which is out of stock, Te Deum Press reserves the right to cancel the order, even if this website erroneously displayed the product as being in stock at the time of the attempted purchase. If an attempted purchase is made on an item whose price is incorrectly labelled, Te Deum Press reserves the right to cancel the order. In such a case, Te Deum Press will attempt to contact the customer in order to give him/her the opportunity to reconfirm the order at the correct price or to cancel it. If the attempt to contact the customer fails, Te Deum Press reserves the right to cancel the order outright. Any order cancellation on the part of Te Deum Press will result in a full refund to the customer (where this is due) in due course. Te Deum Press hereby rejects liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience of any kind which results to the customer from the cancellation of an order (for whatever reason) by Te Deum Press.

Delivery charges are in addition to the displayed cost of products. Delivery charges will vary depending on criteria decided by Te Deum Press alone. Delivery charges will be included in the final price charged to the customer and will be clearly identified as such.

Delivery of Orders

Once an authorized payment has been made and accepted and a communication has been sent to the customer that the order has been dispatched, the order will be delivered to the customer in as timely a manner as possible. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Te Deum Press takes no responsibility for the length of time it takes for an order to be delivered and hereby rejects liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience of any kind which results to the customer from the length of time it takes for an order to be delivered. The delivery times indicated are approximate only and are not the responsibility of Te Deum Press. Te Deum Press takes no responsibility for the order once it has been dispatched.

Te Deum Press hereby reserves the right to cancel an order in the event that it does not deliver to the customer’s zone or area.

If goods have not been received by the customer within 30 days of the sales contract, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform Te Deum Press that goods have not been received.

Returns

Te Deum Press offers a 7 day money-back guarantee (minus 40% restocking charge outlined below for the return of non-defective orders). If for any reason a customer is not happy with his/her purchase, the customer must contact Te Deum Press at info@tedeumpress.com within 24 hours of receipt of goods in order to obtain approval for return. If contact is not made by the customer within 24 hours, Te Deum Press reserves the right to refuse return and implementation of the associated money-back guarantee. All returns must be made such that the item arrives back at Te Deum Press in re-saleable condition and accompanied by a photocopy of the original sales receipt. If the item returns in a condition such that it is unfit for re-sale or without a photocopy of the original sales receipt, Te Deum Press reserves the right to refuse return and implementation of the associated money-back guarantee. Customers should note that in the event that a customer wishes to return a product which is not defective, Te Deum Press will impose a re-stocking charge which is equivalent to 40% of the order (not including shipping). The original shipping cost will not be refunded and the cost of returning the goods will be borne by the customer.

In the event that the return is requested due to alleged defect(s) in the product purchased or alleged shortage in the order, customers should clearly outline in detail the alleged defect(s)/shortage in their communication with info@tedeumpress.com within the 24-hour window. In the event that Te Deum Press acknowledges that the alleged defect(s) actually exists and is due to its negligence, Te Deum Press will offer the customer a choice between a full refund and a replacement in the case of defective goods. In the case where Te Deum Press acknowledges a shortage in an order which is due to its negligence, the order will be completed in as timely a manner as possible. Customers should bear in mind that communication of alleged defect(s)/shortage does not in and of itself constitute a right to refund/replacement etc.

Any complaints not successfully resolved through Te Deum Press’s complaints procedure outlined in the preceding paragraphs will be resolved under the Irish legal system in a Republic of Ireland court exclusively.
